Founder’s note – April 2026

Welcome to my April 2026 founder’s note. 

It has been a particularly exciting month at Strategic!

You can now maximize your connection with senior communication peers, amplify your influence, and access conversations that define the profession, through our new individual and corporate membership offering.

Over 130 of you (global communication leaders and our partners) from 20 countries gathered in Brussels for four events in three days. Thank you to those of you who joined us. I found great value in the different settings and conversations – from the executive roundtable and the Strategic Global Awards events, to our flagship Communication Leadership Summit, co-hosted by Strategic and IABC EMENA, and the day trip to Ghent. 

We marked the sixth birthday of Strategic! This was an important milestone for the company, Mike and I, and our community. As we grow, we are in a better position to respond to your needs and to help progress the profession by evolving our offering further.

One example is the launch of ‘Credentialed’; a certification sponsorship initiative that we developed with the Centre for Strategic Communication Excellence (CSCE), in partnership with the Global Communication Certification Council (GCCC). Not only does it reiterate the central role of certification in communication credibility, Credentialed makes it more accessible within the profession globally.

Strategic Training – powered by the Centre for Strategic Communication Excellence (CSCE) – has three in-person courses in Brisbane during June. For more, see this LinkedIn post. 

We continue to bring you daily, thought-provoking articles by our members, Global Columnist Network, and partners in Strategic Magazine.
