Bio: Jared Meade, MPS, APR, MPRCA, has more than 20 years of experience in public relations. He is the founder and principal of Rayne Strategy Group, a consulting firm that has worked with clients across the country and internationally. In addition to his extensive professional experience, Meade has served as an adjunct professor at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, and Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Meade has held significant roles in various professional organizations. This includes serving as the past chair of the East Central District of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and as a past president of the Northwest Ohio PRSA chapter. He is a founding member and former president of the public relations alumni chapter at Eastern Michigan University, where he was honored as the chapter's Alumnus of the Year in 2009. He is a member of the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), where I contribute to the religious beliefs workstream and have also served as co-chair of the International University Advisory Group, a member of the COVID-19 Global Taskforce and the PR Council. Furthermore, he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), where he is involved with the International Committee and the World Communications Forum Association (WCFA). Additionally, he is a co-founder of the #PRethics Community. He was honored with a Gold Hermes Creative Award from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) in 2018 for the "This is Owens" campaign and again in 2025 for the "#PRethics: Elevating Ethical Standards in PR" campaign. He was also honored with the 2024 ICCO Global Award in the Improving Society and Reputation of PR category for the #PRethics campaign and the 2025 Davos Communications Awards for Outstanding Freelancer of the Year. Meade obtained a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Eastern Michigan University and a Master's in Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University's Graduate School of Political Management. He earned his Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2018.
