Strategic Global Awards 2027

The Difference is Leadership: The Strategic Global Awards

Mike Klein:

There are a lot of award programs in the communication space.  Of course, our profession doesn’t get as much recognition from outside of our ranks as we think we deserve, so it’s only fitting that we take on the effort to ensure that good work gets the credit it’s rightfully due.

But what makes our award program different?

It’s that it’s not just about “good work.”

It’s about the leadership and initiative that it takes to get organizations to allow good work to be done.

Indeed, our Strategic Global Awards focus on the leadership and initiative that communication leaders show around the world – that shows up in the resources and permission that allows good work to emerge.

Starting today, Strategic is now taking applications for our 2027 Strategic Global Awards and our Strategic 27 recognition program.

Our Global Awards cover six individual categories and five team categories – combining cross-disciplinary awards for Strategic Communication, Ethics, Innovation, AI, and Thought Leadership, along with functional awards in Internal Communication, Crisis Communication and Employee Experience.

The free-to-enter Strategic 27 program recognizes outstanding individuals in and around the communication profession.

We actively encourage teams and individuals to self-nominate because it aligns heavily with one of Strategic’s core principles – that we aim to stimulate initiative and participation in the future of our profession.  And we see no better way for communication leaders to draw attention to their own work and their own contributions by self-nominating.

Our goal isn’t to compete with the other excellent awards and recognition programs out there.  It’s to provide a unique alternative that focuses on what it takes to get good work done as it does on the excellence of the work itself.
