Free book offer from Dan Sodergren:

After spending years doing talks about digital transformation, the future of work, technology, marketing and now AI, I am finally working with organizations transitioning into AI-enhanced workplaces. And one thing became clear, especially in the internal communications industry: we needed a practical guide for leaders navigating this change.

That’s why I wrote “How to Survive and Thrive in 2025: A Leader’s Guide to the Times of AI.”

After doing a variety of keynotes, talks and workshops with organizations like IoiC, CommsRebel and CommsHero. Let me share some key insights from my research and hands-on experience.

The Reality of Today’s Workplace

In my consulting work, I’ve seen a pattern emerging. Organizations aren’t just adopting AI tools—they’re fundamentally changing how work gets done. I call this new reality the “cyborg workforce,” where human capabilities are enhanced, not replaced, by AI.

Take Sarah, a communications director I worked with last month (her name isn’t really Sarah but…)  Her team now creates content in a quarter of the time using AI tools. But here’s what’s interesting—the real value comes from how they use that extra time for strategic thinking and relationship building. This is the kind of practical transformation I detail in my book.

What Leaders Need to Know

Through my research, I’ve identified several critical shifts that leaders must understand:

  1. Productivity Has Been Redefined
The old metrics don’t work anymore. When an AI tool can complete a week’s worth of analysis in hours, we need new ways to measure success.
  2. Skills Are Evolving Daily
The most successful teams I’ve worked with aren’t necessarily the most technical—they’re the most adaptable. They understand that AI literacy is as essential as digital literacy was a decade ago.
  3. Communication Must Change
The ways we engage with our teams need to evolve. I’ve seen organizations struggle when they try to apply traditional communication methods to an AI-enhanced workforce.

Real Solutions for Real Challenges

In my book, I share practical strategies that I’ve seen work in the field. These aren’t theoretical concepts—they’re battle-tested approaches that organizations are using right now to thrive in the AI era.

Despite all this technology, one thing remains constant: the importance of human connection. Through my work, I’ve observed that organizations maintaining strong human relationships while leveraging AI capabilities consistently outperform those focusing solely on technological advancement.

Why I Wrote This Book

After seeing so many organizations struggle with this transition, I realized that leaders needed a practical guide—not just theory, but actionable insights based on real experiences. “A leadership guide to the times of AI” (available at www.aileaderhipcourse.com) combines my research with actual case studies and practical frameworks that any leader can implement immediately.

A Limited-Time Opportunity

I believe this information is too important to keep behind a paywall, especially given the rapid pace of AI advancement. That’s why I’m making my book available for free download until the end of February 5th at aileadershipcourse.com and as a thank you.

The organizations I work with that embrace these changes aren’t just surviving—they’re thriving. They’re creating new opportunities, developing stronger teams, and achieving results that seemed impossible just a few years ago. For internal communication teams this is a boon, and in stark contrast to the burnout and worry that was plaguing the sector only a few months ago.

You see in my mind; the future of leadership isn’t about choosing between human skills and AI capabilities—it’s about bringing them together effectively.
