Editor’s note – August 2026

What does it take to write for Strategic Magazine* – and what do we offer in return?

Strategic Magazine has a different orientation than other magazines and platforms in our space.

Most of them focus on the “reader”. Strategic Magazine focuses on the “writer.”

A major reason I got involved with Strategic Magazine was that for communication thought leaders, the options for sharing their thoughts, ideas and insights were insufficient.

Blogs, LinkedIn, the occasional op-ed in trade magazines, or book self-publishing.

What was missing was a third party platform for us to share our thoughts with the backing of a credible community and a recognized brand.

The need for that platform became paramount in the age of AI, where 82% of its search results come from third-party sources like newspapers and magazines.

So our main editorial focus is on giving people in our space with interesting things to say a place where they can say them and be heard.

What do you need to do to write for Strategic Magazine?

You need my email address: editor@strategic.global

I’m not just looking for articles. Another thing that really works are the transcripts of your podcasts or webinars. Some of our best performing content is content we’ve extracted from conversations.

Our sweet spot is 800-1500 words, but we can work with pieces of all lengths.

I can’t promise I’ll publish everything – but I’ll certainly review it.

Hope to see you in our pages soon.

Best,

Mike
