Today’s #WeLeadComms honors go to Irish communication leader Laura Wall.

Laura is CEO of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII), the professional body representing the communications and public relations profession in Ireland.

PRII supports a community of more than 1,000 members working across agencies, in-house teams, government and the wider business community through professional development, education and industry leadership.

With almost 20 years’ experience in communications, Laura has worked across agencies in the UK & Ireland – advising organisations on reputation management, media strategy, consumer campaigns and leadership communications.

Since taking on the role of CEO six months ago, Laura is focused on strengthening the professional foundations of the sector, with a particular emphasis on skills development, ethical standards and supporting the next generation of communications leaders. Under her leadership, PRII continues to expand its education offering, events programme and industry initiatives designed to support practitioners in a rapidly changing environment.

Laura has a strong interest in how technology — particularly artificial intelligence — is reshaping the communications landscape. She frequently speaks on the intersection of AI, trust and reputation, and the role communications professionals play in helping organisations navigate complexity.
