#WeLeadComms: Evelyn Galarza

Today’s #WeLeadComms spotlight galls on NYC-area communication leader Evelyn Galarza.

In her words:

“With more than 20 years at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and culture, I’ve built a career on making iconic brands not just seen — but felt.

“As a dynamic corporate communications and PR professional, I’ve driven integrated communications for some of the world’s most recognized global brands across CPG, beer, spirits, and media and entertainment — including P&G, Nike, Heineken, Diageo, HBO Latino, Time Warner, Charter, and TelevisaUnivision. I’ve launched brands, led high-performing teams, and consistently delivered measurable results that demonstrate real business impact.

“I’m recognized for leading award-winning communications campaigns and high-visibility cross-functional initiatives that align diverse stakeholders around a single, compelling narrative. My expertise spans brand reputation management, crisis communications, executive positioning, and multicultural strategy — with deep fluency in U.S. Latino(a/x) and multicultural audiences.

“Inclusion isn’t a checkbox for me. It’s  a conviction. I’m a relentless advocate for diversity in all its forms and a champion for ensuring underrepresented voices shape the stories we tell and the brands we build.

“Today, I serve as Director of Corporate Communications at Hallmark Media, where I partner with leaders across Distribution, SVOD, Ad Sales, and our broader portfolio of brands and businesses — growing and nurturing those relationships to maximize impact and elevate the company’s voice across every relevant platform.

“When communicators lead with purpose,  strategy, and authenticity, we don’t just shape perceptions,  we move culture.”
