#WeLeadComms: Evan Boyer

North Carolina-based communication leader Evan Boyer is today’s #WeLeadComms honoree.

Evan is the founder and CEO of Leaders PR, a consultancy that helps high-growth companies and challenger brands sharpen their voice, clarify their value, and earn trust in a crowded market. With nearly 15 years of experience in communications, he blends the precision of big-agency leadership with the agility of a solo founder.

Before launching Leaders PR in August 2025, Evan served as Senior Vice President at FleishmanHillard, where he led complex communications strategies for Fortune 500s and leading organizations across industries, including finance, technology, retail, and manufacturing. He has worked with JPMorgan Chase, EY, Lowe’s, Red Hat, Panasonic, and Volvo Trucks, among many others.

Evan has guided clients through a variety of high-stakes challenges and opportunities. He helped shape messaging for a Big Four consulting firm during its planned global split, managed executive response for a global bank in the wake of the SVB collapse, and led a visibility program for a multinational manufacturer that contributed to a 217% sales lift. His work has secured thousands of placements in print, online, broadcast, and audio formats, raised executive visibility, and positioned leaders for transitions, strategic partnerships, and broader influence.

Evan’s philosophy is grounded in the belief that exceptional communication is the ‘unlock’ that allows those who are meant to lead, lead. He helps his clients define what they stand for, articulate clear narratives, and consistently show up authentically to earn attention. By combining narrative development, delivery training, and strategic communications planning, his clients create stories that their key audiences believe, remember, and act on.

Beyond his client work, Evan serves as the volunteer PR Director for the Triangle (NC) AMA, Treasurer of the NC PRSA Chapter, and speaks to students and professional organizations across the country about the importance of telling great stories.
