Selce, Croatia, April 4 – Last week, during the PRO PR International Conference at Hotel Katarina, Rivijera in Crikvenica, the PRO PR Globe People Achievement Awards were presented. The awardees are nominated by previous winners, including four global communication associations: the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO), and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR). All awardees received unique graphic works created by students of the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka.
The awardees from Croatia are: Andrea Husain Orlić, Head of Public Relations and Marketing Department, Triglav Osiguranje Croatia; Egle Katunar, Communicator, Kuća Katunar; Marina Čulić Fischer, Founder of Central Point Adria; and Danijela Čavlović, Senior Consultant at Millenium Promocija. The special Vision Manager award was presented to Neven Mikec, Board Member, VMD GRUPA d.o.o.
In addition to them, the awardees from Slovenia are: Tina Cipot, Operations Director and Partner at o28 Communication Group. From Montenegro: Adrijana Husić, Owner of Communication Studio Cassiopeia; Tajana Nedić, Head of Public Relations and Social Media Manager at the Montenegrin National Theatre; Nemanja Boljević, Communications and Public Relations Manager at the Foreign Investors Council. From Bosnia and Herzegovina: Senad Alibegović, Founder and CEO of KENSHO Communications; Irena Miličević Vukoja, Founder of Woman.Comm. From Serbia: Marina Grihović Fischer, Owner of Headline and D-Kit Agencies; Suzana Đorđević, Director of the Hemofarm Foundation; Vanja Vagić, Director of Corporate Affairs at Pet Nutrition SE. From North Macedonia: Toni Angelovski, PR at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. From Africa: Gilbert Manirakiza, President and CEO of The Newmark Group; Taazima Kala-Essack, General Director and Senior Advisor at Hotwire PRC. From the USA: Jim McQueeny, Analyst at Sacred Heart University; Johna Burke, Executive Director at AMEC. From the UK: Catherine Mahoney, Director of Communications and Engagement at City Bridge Foundation. From Sweden: Jonas Pertoft, President of the Swedish Public Relations Association. From Italy: Fabio Ventoruzzo, Director of Corporate Communications and Sustainability at SISAL.
The Vision City award was presented to the City of Zadar, and the Vision Manager award was given to Neven Mikec, Board Member at VMD GRUPA d.o.o., Croatia, and Martina Dalić, President of the Management Board at Podravka, Croatia. The Infigo Award was presented to Simona Kruhar Gaberšček, Editor-in-Chief of Marketing Magazine, Slovenia, and Oliver Vujović, Secretary-General of SOUTH EAST EUROPE MEDIA ORGANISATION, Austria. The Entrepreneur Award was given to Ghassan Karian from the UK.
